M.F.W.T.C.B. Release.

Just had a mail from Blueprint regarding the release of Make Friends With The Colour Blue. Because of the disruption of air travel over the last few weeks the American premiere has been delayed until 2nd of May. This means that the expected release of the DVD proper is going to be put back to the 11th of May. We will keep you updated.

Vansssss.

The premiere went off….Thanks to everyone who came out. Major stress to make it happen on the day but Chris Oliver saved the whole event by driving up to Birmingham with his copy of the film.In the end it was all run off a laptop into the cinema projector an hour after we expected to get started. Safe to say that the flick is a killer and and the stoke was off the charts….Well worth it.

We got any readers out there?

Today we got issues 3/4/5/6 of the titanically sized SkateBooks in the store….They are hardbound and 320 pages thick. Cover to cover skateboarding in high def detail….It’s got to be said that the quality and content of these books is second to none.

Vans 1966 Video: Premiere on 24th of April.

Just a reminder that the tickets for the premiere are on sale in the store. We are limited to 100 seats in the cinema but may be able to push to a second showing but we won’t know until the day. In other words, if you want to be at the premiere then get down here and hook the ticket up….

Some Right Omar!

We managed to get a hold of another colourway in the Salazar and it’s a stormer. It’s the Anthracite/Black model and it looks really tasty….

And tickets for the Vans premiere will be on sale as of tomorrow…
Don’t miss out.

Mo' Nike SB.

The Spring footwear drops continue at a pace with plenty more scheduled over the next two weeks.
Today it is the turn of Nike SB with a strong new colourway in the Blazer, the Bruin which is a new style for us but as it is on the same sole unit as the Blazer it can only be a winner. Plus we also got a small break of Wallenburg Dunks which are instore sales only…..

Plus, we got the April copy of Sidewalk in stock….Page 123, mind boggling!

Vans Video:1966 Premiere Date.

Just had Kris Vile in the store and we worked out a date for a Birmingham premiere of the Vans Europe DVD. We are going to hold it in the Cinema space at 5.30pm on Saturday the 24th of April. Tickets will be on sale in the store this weekend and for a measly £2 you will get to see Chris Pfanner, Danny Wainwright, Ross McGouran, Flo Marfaing, Sam Partaix and more in the first video to come out under the Vans banner. And of course you will be able to shake Kris by the hand and congratulate him on his section which, so I have heard, is rather good.

Familia.

Fresh lumber arrived today in the form of Familia skateboards. Good shapes on good wood at a great price. Check out what we got here and learn more about Familia here.

Plus, we also got stock of a colourway of the Nike SB Janoski that we haven’t carried before here.

Easter.

We will be open over the Easter weekend, with usual hours on Sunday and 1pm until 4pm on Monday.
Would be great to see you.

Staying Gold.

We just received a lot of Emerica hardware as part of the promotion for the forthcoming Emerica Stay Gold DVD. The deal is, if you purchase any Emerica product you will get a set of these Emerica gold 7/8" allen key mounting hardware packs free of charge….

Sounds like a good deal….

Omar Salazar.

We have taken delivery of the new Omar Salazar mid from Nike SB and they are already garnering some attention straight out of the box.

His debut pro models for SB are understated but feature heavy. Take a look at the microsite here to learn more.

Sidewalk 162

We have got the March issue of sidewalk in stock and is increasingly frequent of late, it is a shocker. Top article is the A Third Foot tour with rad snaps of Jason ‘Cainsy’ Caines, Dougy, Ben ‘Bloke’ Blake, Phil ‘Kanuckistany’ Shore, Woody and Tom Brown.
Drop by the store and pick one up….

There is also a video of the trip right here.
