Alien Workshop was founded in 1990 by Chris Carter and Mike Hill. Away from the tradition heart of the industry in Ohio, it created a new language in the skateboard industry and eschewed the standard Californian imagery that had up until that point been adopted by skateboarding as a whole. Their graphic collaborations and videos are amongst the most memorable offerings the Skateboarding industry has had to offer in the last 20 years.
