Super stoked in the store…..Just had word from UK Independent HQ that Ideal are going to be hosting a visit from the venerable Indy team. So keep in mind that Chris Haslam, Darren Navarette, Alex Olsen, Peter Hewitt, Jeff Grosso, Stu Graham and Andrew Allen will be in town. Date to follow on Monday. We are totally buzzing. Check back here for the full details!
Long time pal of Ideal, Rich Stansbie, is campaigning for a skatepark in his hometown of Lichfield. To help raise the profile of skateboarding in the city he has organised a skate video competition. Have you got a camera and some skills? Then get involved and make something good happen for the regions skate community. There will be prizes plus a premiere viewing night. Get in touch via the email addresses on the poster, and Ideal will have entry forms in the store…Do it!
Last year the Quik cup qualifiers at Cantelowes were described as absolute skate gnar carnage of which we are hoping there will be more this time around. On Saturday 31st of May Bob will be attending and doing the MC duties and filing a report with us on his return. Let’s hope he gets back in one piece…..
Chris Johnson and The Spine Gallery in Worcester are combining to present an exhibition of CJs’ work. Skaters featured are James Gardener, Sean Goff, Woody, Dan Cates, Louis Cooper, Phil Shore, Dougy and many more. From what I can gather it’s not all photography either so better get in and take a look as it sounds like a visit well made if not just for the white wine and canapes at the opening soiree…
Not an event as such but we wanted to let you know that the Diamond Supply Co T’s and sweats will be in stock before the year is out. We have ordered across the styles and this time we are getting the full amount so if you are fiending for any design in particular then you better drop by and take a look early to guarantee getting hold of the colourways you want. Should be in stock at the store for the 28th of December and this will be the only availability until spring.

At last it’s all been confirmed. A3F will be throwing a big ‘ol party on Saturday the 24th of November to mark a date that was impossible to imagine 9 years ago. Over those years they have honed their craft down to a very fine art and now produce some of the finest boards in the world. There, I said it and I blimmin’ well mean it.
So remember to keep that Saturday free and come down to the Custard Factory, skate the mini ramp, eat at the BBQ, enjoy the music and skate with people coming to celebrate from all over the country… And it’s going to be under cover too so the weather ain’t going to spoil nothing….Check A3F for more details…..
