Check Jake banging out a fluid front blunt midway through the music. Cheers to C.J. for the image….
If you were there then you don’t need telling. Saturdays A3F Jam went off!. Evidence is on our media page via that Tommy Gnargore plus geggsman has posted an edit up on the Sidewalk forum here. It’s all well worth a look. The level of skating was mental, with both Woody and Dougy ab-so-lutely killing it. So rad. Plus some near death experiences, notably Park Shark and Woody on the 4 foot wide vert wall at the same time.
Siiick.A big thanks to all that made it happen and those that traveled…..Particular thanks go to Gentlemans Pistols and of course Chris Johnson. He’s great.
Good news back from Bristol. Jack Edwards and Phil Shore made it down to the Manny Mania event held at St Pauls Cathedral and represented A3F
so well even though their lift dropped out and a last minute train trip had to be arranged. Heard about the results on Monday but was waiting on footage to appear on t’web and, at last, here it is, courtesy of www.fiveononemagazine.com.Dead proud of you boys! Oh, and sorry to Jack about the photo to the left. It’s all I had to hand…Soz….
The image to the left is a point and shoot poach of Kris Vile popping out a k.flip on the Ideal mega U pipe. The whole media crew are in town tonight so i just wanted in on the act and I even got to poach some ‘mood flash’ into the bargain. Ain’t nuthin you can teach me….On store news, today we got a stock of Lakai MJ 3’s in black and creme for £35 plus some Cairo Foster 4 Enjoi colab at £45. That is definitely Credit crunching value! It is also the dawning of a new era as we should also take delivery of the new Independent stage tens’ tomorrow.
It’s not like we want you to venture far from Ideal but this Saturday, the closest, newest skateboard facility to us is being officially opened. It isn’t in Birmingham, god bless Birmingham city Council and all their collective wisdom, but in Wednesfield, which is nearer Wolverhampton. It’s def worth a look and Saturday should be fun, so get your plaza boots on and show the dignitaries what skateboarding is…Go on, rattle those chains!

Woah!
It’s almost upon us…..The craftsmen at A3F are holding the very first Ramp Jam at our beautiful U pipe on the 25th..The whole team are going to be in town including ‘Woodeh’ and Doug so expect some shreddage. There will be jinks and japes plus prizes and a BBQ….With a performance from the Gentelmans Pistols at 7pm which is a long time coming….Going to be so much fun so make sure you grab a ticket and get in on the action….!
